First Pitch Launch Party – Event Management

Sirf Marketing was proud to host a sports-related fundraiser party on May 3rd, 2015. The First Pitch Launch Party was held on May 3rd at the Best Damn Sports Bar. Sirf Marketing took care of the event planning, prize donations, press releases, general marketing, Emcee duties, and setup. It was a huge success as we had all hoped.

The aim of the fundraiser party was to raise funds, as well as, awareness about their cause: To fund young Canadian baseball player’s trip to the LABC. As well, their players are going to hand-deliver educational materials, clothing, sports equipment to the Dominican Republic.

The day was filled with baseball games, baseball-themed games and drinks, a silent auction, raffles, and live music (The Shake and Ocean & Lights). We were proud to have a very special guest stopping by – Jim Parque, a former Chicago White Sox pitcher who came out to support the cause. We also had Dennis Walker from SOCountry stop by to help out.

West Coast Authentic ran a silent auction, with a wide variety of sports memorabilia to aid in the fundraiser. As well, there were over $4000.00 in various raffle prizes from local merchants.
